Meet Dr. McKinney
Adam McKinney, DMD
Dr. McKinney was born and raised in Evans, Georgia. He attended Presbyterian College, where he was a four-year letterman in football. After entering dental school, Dr. McKinney accepted a commission into the United States Navy.
After completing dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Dr. McKinney began residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego, California. Upon completion of his residency training, he and his family moved to Bremerton, Washington, to continue their military service at Naval Hospital Bremerton.
Dr. McKinney is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His specialty interests include dental implants, bone grafting, and dentoalveolar surgery, including third molar extractions. He also specializes in orthognathic jaw surgery and the treatment of trauma surgery.
Dr. McKinney is married to his wife, Jennifer, and they have four wonderful children. They are very thankful to return home to the Charleston area and can often be found outdoors playing sports, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the wonderful activities Charleston has to offer.
